After researching the benefits of cold pressed juice I invested in a professional juicer and couldn't wait to get started.

Getting an abundance of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet into our bodies seemed like the most natural way to boost our immunity, flush out toxins and supercharge our health.

Weeks of research and recipe testing later, I created these delicious bottles of elixirs. Juicing has been a game changer for my family and I and we’ve never felt so vibrant!

I started making 3 day cleanses for friends and family and as the word spread, New Rootz Juice Kitchen came to fruition.

Organic Cold-Pressed Juices

Our juices are made in small batches using locally sourced (where possible) organic produce and are cold-pressed to preserve those precious live nutrients.

Our packaging is plastic free and we try and find creative ways to re-use our juice pulp in recipes and the rest is composted back into Mother earth.

3 Day Juice Cleanse

It's not uncommon for people to fall into unhealthy lifestyle habits from time to time, however, neglecting your body's nutritional needs for too long can leave you feeling stressed, lethargic and vulnerable to illness.

Juicing gives our digestion a rest from breaking down whole foods and supports our organs responsible for flushing out toxins. The live nutrients flood our system and are quickly absorbed by our cells and converted to natural energy.

A 3 day juice cleanse can be a great way to restore balance, boost immunity, reset cravings and kick start healthier eating habits.

Preparing For Your Cleanse

At least 5 days before you start your cleanse it is best to eliminate alcohol, ultra processed foods, refined sugar, red meat and minimise caffeine, dairy and wheat.
Eat light meals and choose natural, whole foods such as vegetables, fruits, wholegrains, legumes, nuts and seeds and drink plenty of water and herbal teas.

During your cleanse

  • Ideally start the day with warm water, fresh lemon and raw ginger
  • Drink your juices slowly to allow your gut to better absorb all of the live nutrients
  • Drink 2 litres of filtered or mineral water / caffeine free herbal teas
  • Aim for 7-8 hours sleep to restore energy & cells, balance hormones and reduce cravings
  • Avoid high intensity workouts. Yoga, walking (in nature ideally) or swimming are ideal

Post Cleanse

The cleanse can help to re-set your gut flora so you will most likely find that you're craving more wholesome foods that will continue to nourish your body.

For the first couple of days at least, it’s best to eat light meals that will ease your gut back into digesting food again. Plant-based smoothies, soups and salads are ideal and so are vegetables, fruits, legumes and whole grains like quinoa.

Try and focus on proteins, healthy fats and fibre and be sure to chew your food at least 15-20 times before swallowing to aid digestion.
